Age 93

Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Frank (Jo Ann) and Judith (Glen) Morden. Dear grandmother of Thomas (Brenda), Carrie (Joe) Hertzfeld, Kellie (John) Mayhan, Heather Savoie, Andrea (Peter) Smith and the late Philip Morden. Great grandmother of 14 and great great grandmother of 5. Sister of Mildred Porter and Marilyn Broome. Preceeded in death by her siblings Stan Brown, Jack Brown, Jean Harness, Hazel Donoghue, Fred Brown and Myrtle Belsey. Dear friend of Willbey and Linda Pistor and wonderful neighbor Linda Clarey.

Evelyn was born in Ontario, Canada on September 1, 1922. She moved to the United States in August, 1952. Prior to moving to the USA she and her husband Frank owned and operated a general store and gas station in Victoria Road, Ontario, Canada. She started to work at the National Bank of Detroit (NBD) in 1953 as a teller and retired in 1986 as Assistant Manager at the NBD Cherry Hill/Merriman office. She later joined the Garden City Hospital Guild where she volunteered her time for twenty-eight years. She put in excess of 25,000 hours volunteered at the Garden City Hospital. Evelyn was an active bowler and bowled through the 2014/2015 season. She has won many bowling trophies over the years for both individual and team performance.

Visitation Wednesday 1-4pm until a 4pm funeral service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., (between Cherry Hill and Ford Rd.).

Family suggests memorials to Michigan Humane Society.
