Frances (Fran) M. Szymborski, 95, of Dearborn Heights, MI passed away peacefully on May 4, 2021.  Fran was born in Taylor, MI and in her earlier years, had been employed at an auto manufacturing plant which was converted to manufacturing bullets for use in WWII and later at the Vita-Boy potato chip factory, both in Detroit, MI.  Fran married Raymond Szymborski on Oct. 8, 1960 at St. John Cantius in Delray, MI  and they were married for almost 41 years until his death in 2001.  Fran was a long time parishioner of St. Linus Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights, she was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, she enjoyed the ocean, playing pinochle, going out to eat, cooking huge Polish feasts and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Fran was Mom to her loving daughter, Michele (Scott) Westfall; Grandma to Kyle, Brandon, Brittany and Scotty; Great-Grandma to Raelynn and Oaklyn; and Auntie to Richard (Pat) Vernier. Fran will also be greatly missed by her many friends at the Berwyn Senior Center in Dearborn Heights, MI and the family would especially like to thank Irene Cronk and Sandy Walt for their help and friendship given to Fran for many years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions in Fran's name are suggested to the Berwyn Senior Center, 26155 Richardson St., Dearborn Heights, MI  48127.
