Frances Louise Zdeba left this world peacefully at Angela Hospice Care Center in Livonia, Michigan on August 25, 2018.She was born Frances Louise Kedzierski to Anthony and Antonia Kedzierski on January 9th, 1927 in Pinconning, Michigan.She was the youngest child of a rather large farming family.

As a young woman, she moved from the farm in Pinconning to Detroit to work and live with her sister, Virginia and her brother-in-law, Walt Dombrowski.She worked as a cashier for A&P grocery store before there were cash registers. She prided herself with her mathematical ability and would write down the prices of the items on the paper bag and add them up with speed and accuracy.

While in Detroit, she met and married the love of her life, William (Bill) Zdeba, on August 17, 1946.They settled and raised a family in Dearborn, Michigan and were blessed with 65 years of marriage. Bill passed away on March 1, 2012.

Faith was important to Fran. She attended Sacred Heart Church in Dearborn and was active in the Patrick O'Kelly Knights of Columbus in Dearborn until she could no longer do so. She loved to follow the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and University of Michigan football.

Her family was always the center of her universe.Her love of family was strong and unwavering.She was a warm and loving mother, an amazing cook and a great homemaker.She was a kind and thoughtful listener, always there for family, friends and acquaintances to listen thoughtfully, offer encouraging advice and let you know that you are special. Her caring and gentle spirit will be dearly missed.

Fran is survived by three children: Linda Michels (Joe) of Taylor, Michigan, Tom Zdeba (Kathy Lehne) of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Don Zdeba (Carol) of Ridgecrest, California along with six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sister, Virginia Dombrowski of Southgate, Michigan.

The family will receive friends and family at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home, 2640 Monroe Boulevard, Dearborn, Michigan 48124 on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM.Instate 10:30 AM on Friday, August 31, 2018 until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan.
