Age 89

He was born in Detroit, MI to Frank and Anna Gorski.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Kathleen (Korte) Gorski and his sisters, Dorothy Menefee and Doris White.   He is survived by his five children, Kathleen (Tom) Smith, Terri (Steve) Felger, William (Michele) Gorski, Karen Gorski, Susan (Bob) Kafka, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Frank grew up in Detroit, MI where he had a bit of a mischievous streak and often found himself in trouble with the nuns at St. David's Catholic School. Frank was drafted into the United States Army and served overseas in Korea from 1953-1955. He was a proud veteran.  Upon returning to the States from Korea, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis.  He spent 16 months in the VA hospital receiving treatment.  This turned out to be a blessing in disguise, however, as this is where he met his future wife, Kathy, who was his nurse in the hospital!  Frank retired from the US Post Office and in retirement enjoyed golfing, fishing, and cheering on his beloved Detroit Tigers and Michigan State Spartans.

In State Tuesday, December 20th, 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at the Church of the Divine Child, Dearborn, MI.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Society of the Little Flower, a charity that was very special to him. www.littleflower.org
