IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank
Myszkowski
June 10, 1931 – August 16, 2023
Age 92
Beloved husband of Stephanie (nee: Sitko) for 53 wonderful years. Proud and Dear father of Lynda, Michael, and Mark (Lisa). Loving grandpa of Trevor and Gina. He was very dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Frank grew up in Inkster, Michigan with four brothers and two sisters. He attended Roosevelt High School and Eastern Michigan University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army stationed stateside and in Germany from 1953-1955. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years, most recently as a Supervisor in Production Control at the Dearborn Engine Plant, until he retired in 1985.
As fate would have it, Frank purchased land and built a cottage on Lake Huron in St Joseph, Ontario where he met his wife Stephanie to whom he was happily married for 53 years. This cottage was the source of wonderful family memories over the years. His proudest accomplishment, no doubt though, was being a father to his daughter Lynda and his sons Michael and Mark and he devoted himself to their happiness and their interests. His love and devotion to his family defined who he was and who they would become. It was with great joy that he finally became a grandpa and showed the same love and devotion to his two grandkids Trevor and Gina.
Frank loved sports. He played third base on his high school baseball team, was quarterback of his high school football team, and played hockey. He continued playing on various softball teams throughout his life into his 70's. He was a proud and ever-present fan at his children's sporting events. He was an avid fan of Detroit sports teams, University of Michigan teams, and eventually Michigan State teams. He would often be found watching games on TV or listening to them on the radio.
A devout Catholic, Frank was active in the church throughout his life. He served as an altar boy as a child and volunteered with the Men's Club at Divine Child.
