IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank
Yesh
November 15, 1931 – April 14, 2020
Age 88,
Frank went peacefully to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. Beloved husband of late Marian Yesh. Dear father of Frank R. (Kathy), Mark (Malinda), David, Marty (Doreen), Linda (Mike) Yesh-McMaster and Samantha. Grandfather of 13. Great grandfather of 8. Brother of Richard Yesh and Gloria Potochick.
Born in Dearborn, Michigan. Attended Lawrence Tech, and Princeton on an Academic scholarship. After graduating from College Frank got married and joined the Army where he was stationed in Arizona. He couldn't shoot a gun straight but he developed some enhancements and improvements to the Radar and sonar equipment that were being used at that time. Frank then was a Grad Assistant at Washington University, St. Louis where he did his post graduate work. Frank worked for Detroit Edison for over 40 years. He started as an electrical engineer then held several management positions. His team developed the instrument panel systems that were integral to the Fermi Nuclear power plant in Monroe. He was an avid fan of all things sports including watching, playing and coaching them. Frank was inducted into the Divine Child hall of Fame in November of 2019.
When asked what he wanted for his loved ones? Frank said, "To be successful, Live without getting in trouble, Lead a clean life, Raise a family, See them succeed." Frank was able to experience these things himself and witness his loved ones pursue the same desires. Thinking of these guidelines Frank concluded by saying, " I had a very successful life."
He was a wonderful man who would tell you his family was his legacy. He taught many valuable lessons about working hard and loving life. Frank thought it important to celebrate the victories big or small along the way. He also knew the importance of always leaving room for dessert(s).
