Gayle McCollom Obituary Gayle (Fehrenbach) McCollom, 82, of Grayling, Michigan passed away peacefully June 4th 2026 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City with family at her side. 

Gayle was born on October 8th, 1943 in Detroit Michigan to Parents Norman and Margaret (Payea) Fehrenbach. Gayle worked in the trucking industry as an Accounts Receivable where she managed incoming payments, resolved billing issues, and maintained accurate customer ledgers. 

Gayle was married to Kenneth McCollom Sr. (deceased), and has 3 children. Gayle is survived by her children, son Ken Jr., and daughters Deanna and Susan. And her Grandchildren (Deanna) David, Wade, Eva, Evan. And (Susan) Briona, Devan, Elijah, Amaria. And Great-grandchildren Jeremiah and Vyla. She is preceded by her father, mother, her sister Lynn Fehrenbach and brothers, Norman Fehrenbach Jr., Phillip Fehrenbach Gayle was loved by everyone she knew, and had a great sense of humor and infectious laugh. She enjoyed playing games, working on puzzles and watching her favorite programs. She will be missed greatly, and thought about often by the surviving members of her family.
