Beloved husband of the late Doris. Loving father of Doreen (John) Gasparella, Lura Allen, Jill (Robert) Fenech, Mark(Cecilia), Janice (John) Filiatraut, Christy (Ron) Targosz and the late George Jr. Grandfather of 18. Great grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Fr. John Canavan.
Visitation Saturday 2-8pm with an evening Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City (Between Ford Rd. & Cherry Hill). In state Monday 9:30am at St. Linus Catholic Church, 25500 Hass (between Ford & Warren, west of Gulley) until 10am Mass.
Family suggests memorials to Capuchin Soup Kitchen
