George Richard Lehman lived a life defined by kindness, devotion to family, and a passion for creating. A truly wonderful husband and father, George was known for his gentle spirit and his remarkable talent for woodworking. He was exceptionally gifted with his hands, turning simple wood into lasting treasures. He also brought that strong work ethic to his career, dedicating 30 years of service to Ford Motor Company. Guided by his faith, George was also actively involved in serving his church community for many years.

He leaves behind a large, loving family, including his devoted wife of 14 years, Cynthia; his five children, Sue (Tim) Happ, Paul Lehman, Kathy (Ken) Steinbrueck, Martha Barikmo, and Daniel (Lisa) Lehman; and a proud legacy of 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

George is reunited in death with his first wife of 59 years, Corinne, and his parents, George and Irene Lehman.

Visitation Thursday, May 28th, 2026, from 9am until the 11am Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).
