A celebration of life! We are the flowers in his garden of life; feel free to wear colors in George's honor.
George was a man defined by his faith and love for the Lord. His was a kind and tender heart felt by all who knew him. He had a passion for life and befriended all. He loved his family and was the father of 5, grandfather of 12, and great grandfather of 21. He had a great sense of humor and was known for being able to turn a phrase. He loved music, played guitar (among other instruments) and was particularly fond of singing his gospel music. He believed everyday was a great day to dress up, sporting his cowboy shirts, cowboy hat and bolo ties. He was a patriotic man who loved to wear his red, white and blue and displayed his flag proudly. He was a veteran who served 2 years each in the Navy and Army. He was a handyman who could fix anything and a gardener with a green thumb who loved his flowers. He worked for General Motors for 38 years, loved his cars and was known for maintaining them meticulously, particularly his Cadillac. He was truly a gifted man who held a lot of titles and will remain a Legend in the hearts of all.
