George Earl Millard, 69, of Austin, TX passed away on December 11, 2011. He was born on November 8, 1942 in Colebrookdale, PA to Frank and Elizabeth Millard. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marie Miller, and son, George Michael Millard. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, son Geoffrey (Cindy) Millard, David (Diane) Donnan, Sandra (Patrick) Engebretsen and grandchildren, Scott Millard, Kevin Millard, Maryann Donnan, Robert Donnan, Sara Engebretsen and Danielle (Danny) Johnston. Also, siblings Frank (Carrie) Millard, Betty (Paul) Weidner and Harold (Jane) Millard.

George served 26 years in the U.S. Army. He retired and went to work for the U.S. Treasury Department where he retired in 2001.

Visitation Sunday 4-9pm. Service Monday 11:30am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City. Interment will be at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
