Gerald Foether was born in Flint, Michigan on June 10, 1933 to Vernon and Helen Foether.  He graduated from Mt. Morris High School and after serving 4 years in the United States Navy worked as a Millwright at General Motors for 42 years.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing but will be remembered most for his stories and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his wife Norma in 1965 and his wife Kaye in 2015.  He felt that his greatest accomplishment in life was his family of 9 children, Faith (the late Billy) Riddle, Kenneth (Brenda), Beth (Tony) Lacey, Kevin (Jackie), Alan (Jean), Keith (Penny), Bruce (Darcy), Donna (the late Gary) Hall, and the late Kyle, 16 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren.

At Gerald's request, a memorial service will be held later this year in Clio, Michigan.
