IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Geraldine L.
Zelony
May 7, 1928 – February 9, 2023
Geraldine L. Zelony, age 94. Passed away on Thursday, February 9th. She was surrounded by dear loved ones, and those who came to love her during her stay at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Zelony. She was the loving mother of Edward J. Zelony Jr., Lenore (James) Bach, James Zelony (Dotty Stewart), and Kathleen Zelony (Timothy Cramer). Cherished grandmother to 6 grandchildren. Dear sister of Patrice Gramezy. Loved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend of Anne Carolini.
Gerry spent most of her life living and working in Michigan. She was a proud musician, she played the saxophone and the piano and appreciated music, especially jazz and big band until the day she passed. Gerry worked in the retail lumber sector in Dearborn, as her family owned and operated Liberty Lumber for many years.
Gerry loved having a large family of four children: two boys and two girls - just as she ordered, is often how she described her mix of sons and daughters.
As her family grew she and her husband, Ed, moved the family to the countryside settling in Grass Lake, Michigan. During their time in the country, Gerry and her family raised many different types of farm animals and enjoyed growing large gardens.
Gerry loved her family and life very much, as her family loved and adored her. She will be missed forever.
