Obituary

Age 81 of Dearborn Heights, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. Born in Paganica, Italy, at the age of 19 sailed to Venezuela en route to Michigan a few years later. Lead an extremely productive life having worked for over 30 years at Ford Motor Co. while raising a family. He was a hard-working self-starter building a successful donut shop while working full-time at Ford. Was well known as a talented cement layer and bountiful gardener for family, friends, and neighbors. If it was Sunday, you were in the neighborhood, there was always an open invitation for a traditional Italian dinner.

Preceded in death by parents Angelo Rotellini and Zelinda De Paulis and loving wife Barbara Rotellini (Vernarelli), sister Rosa Rotellini (Dominco Cicino), and brother Ascanio Rotellini. He is survived by son David Rotellini, daughter Linda Rotellini, companion Marilyn Spiteri, brother Marino Rotellini (Felicina), sister Lina Smith (Tom), many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and truly anyone that has been so lucky to have met him.

Visitation Thursday, April 29, 2021, 2-7pm with 6:30pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). Funeral Mass Friday, April 30, 2021, 10:30am at St. Linus Catholic Church, 25500 Hass (Between Ford and Warren, west of Gulley).
