IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gloria A.
Longo
June 11, 1940 – May 22, 2020
Gloria Longo was the most organized women we could've known because she prepared for this day we can celebrate the amazing life she lived.Gloria quoted Luciano de Crescendo, "We are each of us angels with only one wing and we can fly only by embracing one another".
Gloria Longo, age 79, died peacefully following a stroke and an aneurysm. She was born on June 11, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan and was preceded in death by her husband Achille Longo, parents Albert and Marcy Pagnani, and brothers Paul and Alfred. She is survived by her sister Loretta (Gary) Lorentz.
Gloria will be deeply missed by her stepchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her loving family and friends.
Gloria loved to dance, socialize, and had a laugh that could fill a room and she made friends wherever she went.Gloria wanted to say, "Because of the wonderful support of loving family and friends, I am beginning to flutter my wing and should soon be flying like an eagle.I thank you all, and I thank God for blessing me so generously".
A Memorial Mass will be held when it is safe for all to gather. Details regarding the Mass will be added when available. Please feel free to post a memory of Gloria or share a story on her tribute wall.
