Helen L. Kowalczyk, age 81, June 3, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Frank. She will be dearly missed by her children; Jerry (Kathy), Paul (Robin), Ann (Dan) Kalvelage, Cathy (Greg) Sokoloski and Mike (Danielle). Grandmother of Chris (Karih), David, Jessica (Rob), Erica, Chrissy, Sarah, Lindsey and Delaney. Sister of Frank and Richard (Virginia) Nawrocki. Helen loved and missed her late husband, Frank, immensely who died tragically in 1964. She loved our Lord and was a very devoted mother and grandmother. Prior to her marriage, she was a Postulate Nun with the Felician Order. She later spearheaded the Widow's Support Group at Our Lady of Grace and became a member of the Third Order Society. Helen was an elementary school teacher by profession and later changed careers and retired from the United States Postal Service.

Visitation Sunday (June 6, 2010) 2-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd. (bet. Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill). In state Monday (June 7, 2010) 9:30am until a 10am Mass at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 31530 Beechwood (at Merriman Road, 2 blocks north of Ford Rd.). Donations suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
