Beloved father of Rachel (Miguel) Hernandez, Rose (Thomas) Shanaver, Cornelio Medel, Juanita Medel and Grace Medel. Grandfather of Michelle Perez, Julie Brines, Thomas Jr., Eric Shanaver, Philip, Steven, Lisa Hernandez and Cassandre Medel. Great grandfather of Bilal, Amelia, Audrey and Mikayla Grace. Brother of Juan Medel.
Visitation Sunday 1-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., Garden City (between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill). In state Monday 10:00am until 10:30am Mass at St. Dunstan Catholic Church, 1515 Belton (2 blocks west of Inkster, 2 blocks south of Ford Rd.)
