Cherished mother of Judith (the late Rodney)Shewchuk, Linda (Terry) Nidiffer,the late Gerald (Kathleen) Ponto and the late Thomas (the late Valerie) Ponto. Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Irene's funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home 2640 Monroe Boulevard, Dearborn, Michigan 48124. There will be a procession immediately following Irene's Funeral Service to her final resting place at St. Hedwig Cemetery, 23755 Military Road, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48127
