Age 66

Beloved husband of Sharon Lee Van Black of 5 years, the late Denise Lynn Schemskey of 5 years, Sherry Lynn Steadman of 18 years and Lorri Smith of 13 years. Loving father of Trisha Lee Beebe, Tracy Lyn (Erik) Harroun, Jack Maynard (Cheryl) Smith Jr., Thomas Michael Smith, Tonya Dawson, Sherry Hough, Heather (Sam) Coccia and James (Jess) Gooch.  Cherished grandfather of 18.  Adored great grandfather of 1.  Dearest brother of Ruth (Carl) Stafford, the late Elizabeth (Johnny) Graves, Louise (the late Robert Wynn), Bill (Nancy) Estepp and Shirley Ramsey.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Willard (Irene) Maynard Smith and Jessie 'Joy' Yoeman Smith.

Visitation Tuesday 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.  In state Wednesday 10:00 A.M. followed by the 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service at Community Baptist Church.  Burial immediately following at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.
