Obituary

Jack Tomasi was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Cindy. He was the loving and dedicated father of Tony (Jenny) and Chris (Barb). He is the proud Grandfather of Nick (Corrinne),Vince (Alyssa), Dominic, Sam, and Julia, and Great-Grandfather of William. He is loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, and certainly many former players and coaches. He was also adored by his step-daughter, Cindy Dean, who he met later in life. Jack was born and raised in Detroit but spent a better of his life raising his family in Garden City. He retired from General Motors and proudly served in the United States Navy. He dedicated a huge part of his life to youth sports, primarily the Catholic Youth Organization.  He will be greatly missed as he was a tremendous caring person with a heart of gold.
