James Douglas Anderson, age 74, of New Hudson, Michigan and formerly of Livonia, Michigan passed peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Paulé. Dear Dad of Paul (Colleen) and Jamie (Dave) Perrine. Papa of Isabel and Hannah Perrine, and Dylan and Ryan (baby on the way) Anderson. Brother of Herb (Jane), Charles (Suzie) and the late Gary and Garland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Best bud to the family dogs, Charlie and Coty. Born in West Virginia on March 18, 1939, Jim was the son of the late Benjamin and Louise Anderson.

On October 10, 1970 in Franklin, MI, Jim was united in marriage to Paulé Coffman. He was devoted and loving to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, mathematical wiz and loved to spend time with his kids, grandkids and dogs. He also enjoyed spending time with extended family and friends. Jim earned a B.A., majoring in Mathematics at Berea College (Kentucky) and was a United States Marine Corp Veteran. Jim supported his family through a dedicated career as a Project Manager at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Michigan.

Memorial Visitation Friday 1pm followed by a 5pm Memorial Celebration at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City, MI (between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill).
