Beloved husband of Anna May. Dear father of Nancy (Richard) Schenkel, Sharon L. (Michael) Banka, J.B. (Debbie) and Cathy (Glenn)Voorheis. Grandfather of Matthew (Tara) Schenkel, Joshua (Michelle) Likeric, Jacob (Nicole) Likeric, Keith (Jennifer) Schenkel, Megan Banka, Adrienne (Ricardo Arellano) Banka and Alison Banka. Great grandfather of 6. Predeceased by his parents, Anton and Mary (nee: Kartz) Likeric.

James was born in Saginaw Michigan December 3, 1929. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1947 and Michigan State Univeristy in 1952. He was employed briefly at Packard Motor Co. and then Ford Motor Co. for 39 years as a Mechanical Engineer.

In state Saturday, August 17 ^th , 9:30 A.M. until the 11 AM Funeral Service at Hope Lutheran Church, 3640 Madison St., Dearborn.
