James "Jim" Marvin Turner, age 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 25, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on March 28, 1933 to William and Mable (Stewart) Turner.  Jim was a retired bus driver for the City of Detroit, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Assemblies of God Church.  During retirement he enjoyed golfing and achieved three hole in one's.  Beloved husband of 65 years to Betty (Collins), whom he married on October 27, 1951.  Treasured father of James M. of Westland, Jeffrey (Shelly) of Ann Arbor, and Janice of Westland.  Also survived by his grandsons Chris and Adam; great grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, and Colton.  Preceded in death by infant son Larry.

Visitation Wednesday 10am until the 1pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).
