Age 94

Dearest mother to Dave (Jackie), Norman "Reed" (Rae), Laurie Anderson (Bruce), Leslie Harper (Jack), and the late Carole "Lynn" Poletti.  Dearest grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 11.  Jane grew up in Dearborn, MI.

After graduating from Dearborn High, she attended Hillsdale College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education.  She taught school for a few years before raising 5 children in Garden City, where she resided for 66 years. In later years, she worked as an aide at the Burger Autistic Center before retiring.

Jane bowled for many years at Silver Lanes and Garden Lanes.  She was an avid reader and proud member of the Garden City Library Club.  She was also an active member of the Wayne Ladies Literary Club.  She cherished her longtime friendships with retired school employees, keeping very active with weekly card clubs, and attending plays/shows/lunch and dinner visits with her friends.  Her greatest joy, of course, was her family.  A loving and deeply devoted mom, grandma, and GG, she supported, and was involved in all of our activities, and those of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who had the pleasure to know her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 1pm - 4pm with a Memorial Service at 4 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.
