Jeannie V. Caruana. Age 91 years. Jeannie passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Nazareno. Caring mother of Joseph (Joan) Caruana, Gerald (Rose) Caruana, Cathy (the late Vic) Sebens, Judy (Tom) Bennett and Diane (Frank) Bennett. Cherished grandma of Brian (Stacy) Caruana, Jenni Caruana, Danielle Budka, Victor (Jackie) Sebens, Michelle Budka, Mary (Derek) Bartley, Therese Caruana, the late Justin Budka, and the late Nicholas Budka. Dear great-grandmother of Isabella, Aaliyah, Kamila, Mattie, Justin, Otto, and Ryker.
Jeannie was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She married Nazareno in Toronto in 1950 and they moved to Detroit in 1952. A longtime resident of Dearborn, residing there since 1960. Jeannie enjoyed her time as a lunchroom mother at St. Sebastian Catholic School (around 40 year), reading and bingo. She will be dearly missed by many.

Visitation will be Friday March 22, 2024, at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home in Dearborn, Michigan starting at 1:00 p.m. until the time of Rosary at 7:00 p.m., visitation will continue until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Dearborn, Michigan, instate at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m.
