Age 62.

Beloved husband of Sandra for 34 years. Loving dad of Brent (Mikalee) and Brittany (Aaron) Bohms. Cherished companion and best friend of his beloved dog Rosco. Dear son of the late Teddy and Mary (Robert) West. Dearest son-in-law of the late Gertrude Madin. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, family members and friends.

Jeffrey John Zapczynski was an incredibly devoted husband, father, and friend. He was selfless, loving, caring, hardworking, and dependable. He loved helping people and made friends everywhere that he went. He enjoyed being outside, fishing, and tinkering on projects. He met with his friends often for breakfast and enjoyed keeping busy. He took great pride in his landscaping and his home. However, his greatest pride and joy was his family.  Jeff was devoted to his wife, Sandy, for 34 loving years of marriage. He made sure she needed or wanted for nothing and, together, they created a beautiful family. He passed on his knack for projects to his son, Brent, and they shared countless hours together working together on house projects, landscaping, and cars. He was enamored with his daughter, Brittany. He was her biggest fan and was so incredibly proud of the woman that she has become. He was a loving and supportive father figure to his son-in-law, Aaron, and daughter-in-law, Mikalee. Jeff spread his warming spirit to everyone in his path and had an impact on many. He truly made the most of each moment and surrounded himself with love. He ended every evening with a bowl of ice cream and peanut butter. He will be forever cherished and missed by his wife, children, family, friends, and Rosco.

Memorial Visitation Saturday 10:30am until the 11:30am Memorial Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).
