KILMER, Joan Georgina Parker, age 84, went home to be with the Lord December 4, 2016.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 10, 1932 to Bert and Daisy Parker.  She is survived by her beloved daughters, Kyle, Lynda, and Elaine, and her son-in-law, Tom.  Joan loved her extended family & friends in Michigan, was proud godmother to Johnny and grandmother to her "grandpup", Chloe.  She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, her strength, and her love of life.  She was the "Best Mom in the World!" Visitation will be held at John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home in Garden City, Michigan on Monday, 12/12 from 4-8 pm.  Memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Santeiu & Son Tuesday, 12/13 at 11:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Humane Society or ASPCA in honor of her on-going love of 'puppies'.
