Joan Winslow, age 87, passed away peacefully, September 17, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose selfless love, kindness and caring spirit touched everyone she met.
Joan was married to the love of her life, Joseph Winslow, for nearly 70 years. Together, they built a life filled with faith, love and unwavering support for one another through the joys, sorrows, and challenges that came their way. She had a deep and abiding love for the Lord.A devoted member of the Catholic Church, she practiced her faith with dedication and inspired others through her commitment to service and community in the many parishes of which she served.
She is survived by husband, Joseph Winslow, her beloved children, Debbie Winslow, Judy Villegas (Victor), Diane Rumley, Joseph Winslow Jr, Lisa Winslow, and grandchildren, Rachelle Villegas, Dr. Ryan Villegas (Celeste), Michael Ferrise (Emily), David Ferrise, Nicole Ferrise, Ashley Winslow, Nicole Morba, Patrick Winslow Jr (Sarah), Nicholas Winslow, Jason Winslow (Anna), and Danielle Zahn (Carl), who will carry on her legacy of love, kindness and compassion. She was predeceased by her late sons, Patrick James Winslow, and Daniel Michael Winslow.Joan's warm heart and nurturing nature made her the cornerstone of her family, and she will be forever cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held Friday, September 20, 2024.Visitation will begin at 10:00 am EST followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 am EST at St Kateri Catholic Church, 16101 Rotunda Dr, Dearborn, MI 48120.The funeral mass will be streamed live at 11:00 AM EST via www.StKateriDearborn.org It will then remain online through Sept 29, 2024.

Joan Winslow will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
