Joseph Zullo Jr, 66, of Addison, MI passed away on Wednesday, September 29 ^th surrounded by family after a valiant battle with lung cancer.

Joe was born to Joseph Sr. and Rosemarie Zullo in Allen Park, MI. As a child, he grew up loving cars and worked at his father's gas station and muffler shop.  His love of cars turned into his passion and that led to a successful 25-year career as a mechanic and then a 23-year career at Ford Motor Company.  Joe loved any classic car that was loud, fast and in beautiful condition.  His knowledge of car mechanics and classic cars rubbed off on his three sons.

In November of 1974, Joe took Lynn on their first date which led to a long, happy and loving marriage of 42 years.  Throughout their marriage they showed their children Joey, Shawn and Corey how a true partnership works and love can get you through anything.

Joe was a hardworking kind man who was dedicated to his family. He never gave up until he found the cheapest deal and refused to pay for anything he thought he could do himself.  Joe's true happiness was being at Silver Lake with his family, whether they were boating, hanging out at the sandbar with friends or sitting in the sun to work on his tan.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Joseph Sr. and Rosemarie, his father in-law John Banach and mother in-law Betty Banach. He is survived by his wife Lynn, his brother Tom, his three children Joey, Shawn   (Krissy) and Corey (Amanda) and his two grandchildren Dominick and Sawyer who just adored their Papa and he them.

Memorial Visitation 10am at St. Mary of Chelsea Catholic Church on Saturday, October 9 ^th . Mass to follow at 11am.
