John H. McLaughlin "The Jelly Man" April 4, 1929 to March 17, 2012 died peacefully in the arms of his family after a short illness.

Beloved husband of the late Ann (Terri). Precious and giving father of Shawn (Mike) Sobaszko, John (Lisa), Matthew (Teresa), Gregg (Joyce), Erin (Duane) and Colleen (Steve). Much loved by his; grandchildren Kevin, Damon (Shawna), Adam, Brian, Kristie, Nicole (Mike), Alec, Aaron, Caitlyn, Nichalas, David, Brittany, Jasmine, Allie, Samarra and great-grandson Nolan; brothers Chuck and George; sister-in-law Donna Jesudowich; special niece Patti and many nieces and nephews.

Dad leaves all the special friends he has met through the years as neighbors, coworkers and workout buddies. He was a people person who always saw the good in people. His encouraging words will live on in all who listened.
With Dad's guidance we will plant and tend to his greatest passion – his garden. Never to sit still, he had already purchased his seeds. His raspberry jelly was a labor of love and we will continue this legacy. Dad you will live on in us. We love you so much. Thank you for everything.

Visitation Wednesday 2pm until the 7pm funeral service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., (between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill).
