John Briant Schauppner, age 61. John passed away on Monday April 17, 2023. Loving father of Kyle (Fiancé -Nicole) Schauppner. Cherished grandfather of Logan John Schauppner. Loving son of Mary Jane (Luigi) Ferrante and the late William (Chris) Schauppner. Dearest brother of Donna (Randy) Malloy, Susan (Edward) Stadler, and the late Jane (Larry) Zocher. Fondest uncle to many nieces and nephews
John loved spending time with family and friends. He was definitely a people person and always enjoyed family get togethers and outings with his friends. Since he was young John has loved sports of any kind. From watching to playing he loved baseball, basketball, bowling, golf and of course the Kentucky Derby! He also loved getting together with his best friends to play euchre and poker.

There will be a memorial gathering for family and friends on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00p.m. at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home.
