John (Bill) William Allen, Age 91,

Bill passed away on October 27, 2023 at his home peacefully. Bill was born on November 13, 1931 in the small town of Bargersville, IN. He enjoyed listening to the Detroit Tigers on his AM radio, watching college basketball, people watching, and was looking forward to the Detroit Lion's this season. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and walking to Starbucks every day to have a plain black coffee and visit with all who came in.

He was the son of the late Elsie Robertson and William Allen. He was a beloved father and leaves behind a daughter, Martha (Eddie) Blazo, and a son, Victor Allen (Yvette Staton). Loving grandfather of Corene, Christina (Scott), Justin, Lukus (Abigail Harris), and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five of his sisters (Irene Straubb, Eilene Ellis, Betty Whitehead, Joanne Weir, Helen Ross) and survived by one sister, Patricia Wojtewicz.

Visitation is Wednesday 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or the Smile Train.
