Age 63

Died at 9:10 am, January 29, 2018. He was born January 26, 1955 in Detroit to Elmer and Mary Yuhas.  He is survived by the love of his life, Lea Ann Yuhas. Beloved father of Rick (Alanna), Alisha (Mike) Detoy, Alex (Lara) and James (Chantal) Frank.  Loving grandfather of Samantha, Haley, Braylon and Chloe Yuhas, Taylor, Kasey, Kori and Alec Detoy, Sophia and Myles Yuhas and Bryson Frank. Great grandfather of Liam Arban and 2 on the way.  He is also survived by his father Elmer, sisters, Sally (Tom) Bates, Linda (Ken) Bedell and Patty (Joe) Kieleszewski and his brother David (Heather). Preceded in death by his beloved mother Mary.

John proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era, retiring after 20 years of active duty.

Visitation Wednesday 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., Garden City (Between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill).  Burial will take place Thursday 10:30am at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
