Age 96

Joseph went to his heavenly Father on March 9, 2025. Beloved husband of Gladys and the late Marie (Dolly). Dear father of Karen McMullen, Joseph P. (Terri), Kevin J. (Teresa), Mary (David) Webb, and the late Thomas J. and Margaret Schnarr. Father-in-law of Phil Schnarr. Grandfather of 11. Great grandfather of 5.  Step father of Alex (Martha) Dobbs, Patricia A. (Ron) Gross, Thomas (Jane) Dobbs, Andrew Dobbs, Kenneth (Kathy) Dobbs, and Nancy (John) Frick.  Step grandfather of 15. Brother of Charles (the late Betty), Louise Bergiel, Mary Kitz, Catherine (Paul) Sugars, and Joan Schneider and the late John.

He attended Sacred Heart Seminary and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe was a State Farm agent in Dearborn and Dearborn Heights from the middle 50's to early 90's.

Visitation Friday 2pm – 8 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Saturday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Mass at Church of the Divine Child. Burial will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
