Nalepa, Joseph Sylvester. Age 81. October 12, 2012. Loving husband of Nancy (nee Libich) for 57 years. Beloved father of Kathy (the late David) MacDonald, Judith Canavan, Tere (Mark) Ryan, Michael (Kathie) Nalepa, and Nancy (Joe) Kerr. Dear grandfather of Erica Canavan; Douglas, Austin, and Bradley Ryan; Andrew, Patrick, and Clare Nalepa; Joseph and Graceson Kerr. Joe was an active Fourth Degree member and Past Faithful Navigator of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Hunt Council. Joe was also a member and Past President of the Good Fellows. He belonged to St. Albert the Great Parish for over 56 years. Joe retired from Barton-Malow in 1995. Visitation will be held at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home, 2640 Monroe Blvd. (Near W. Outer Dr.) Dearborn, Friday from 1-9p.m., with the Rosary at 7p.m. Instate, Saturday at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 4855 Parker St. in Dearborn Heights, 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Children's Services, 8759 Clinton-Macon Rd.
