Age 92

Beloved husband of Dorothy. Dear father of Rebecca 'Becci' (Robert Woodside), Cecilia 'Ceal' (James Gough) and the late Paul (Wendy). Grandfather of Aja, Xavier, Joseph, Dale, Dane, Dylan, Carol, Abby, Doug and Ivan. Great grandfather of Ivy, Drake, Griffin, Eli, Lenora, Holden and Lucy Luu. Brother of Don (Karen) Schirrick, Cecile Baatz and Carol Laier.

Joe was a truly proud American who valued freedom. He also was a dog lover who walked hundreds of miles over the years with his beagles. He was a voracious reader, enjoyed flying kites and was particularly proud of the fact he worked 30+ years with the airlines starting with North Central Airlines and he was fortunate enough to enjoy 33 years of retirement. Joseph was also a devoted traditional Catholic who attended the Tridentine Latin Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wayne MI. "Pa" was a good man who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

In state Saturday 10 am until the 10:30am Funeral Service at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wayne.
