Josephine Mary Erdody. Lovingly known as "Peachy" by her family. Peachy was born on May 10, 1929. She passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the age of 90.
Daughter of the late John and Mary Erdody . Sister of the late John (Helen) Erdody, Rudolph (Josephine) Erdody and Olga (Leo) Nebesio. Beloved aunt to Rosemary, Norman, Nancy, Maryann, and Jeanne. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Peachy was a devoted daughter and sister. She loved her nieces and nephews and their children. She was a proud Godmother. Peachy had a remarkable memory for birthdays and anniversaries. After high school she attended the University of Detroit Mercy. She worked at a Detroit bank as a mortgage clerk for many years. In her free time she enjoyed dancing, because of her joy for dancing she was a member of several dance clubs.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Hackett- Metcalf Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 2:00 PM. Instate 10:30 AM on Monday, November 4, 2019 at St. Kateri Catholic Church, 16101 Rotunda Drive, Dearborn, Michigan 48120 until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
