Judith Rae Balhorn "Judy". Age 86. Judy passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, one day after her 64th Wedding Anniversary with her beloved husband, John Balhorn. Loving mother of Joseph (Paula) Balhorn, Diane Sizemore (Rod), Chris (Kim) Balhorn and the late Michael Balhorn and John Balhorn Jr. Dearest mother-in-law of Diana (John). Cherished grandma of Kameron, Rachel, Aubrey, Emma and Matthew (Katy). Great grandma of Reid and Dani. Dear sister of Michael (Diane) Stefaniak and sister-in-law of Joseph Balhorn.

Judy was a graduate of Dominican High School located in Detroit, Michigan. Her beauty, charm and warm and friendly personality led her to becoming a Pageant Winner and to a career in the Automotive Industry with Dodge Main in 1956.
Judy married her husband, John on October 24, 1959. Together they had five children. They were later blessed with their grandchildren and eventually their great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, quick wit, knowledge of current events and good cooking, for she was a "Great Cook".

Judy cherished her family and loved her Northern Lake Living!

A Memorial Gathering for Family & Friends will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
