Karen was born in Dearborn, Michigan on July 14, 1975, at 7:40am. Her twin sister was born at 7:43am. She was called home by Jesus on March 29, 2026, at the age of 50. 

She attended St. Dunstan Parochial Elementary School where she excelled in her academic programs, girl scouts, and participated in many sports. At Garden City High School she met the love of her life, Jason M. Duncan and married him. She attended Wayne State University and was awarded a Bachelors degree in Accounting and specialized in aiding her clients in navigating their taxes. 

Jason and Karen bought a house in Westland, but because of their love for boating and fishing they moved out to the Hamburg area on the Huron River chain of lakes, where they enjoyed the country-style living.

Beloved wife of Jason Duncan. Loving daughter of Lawrence and Evelyn Griwicki. Dear sister of Jennifer Griwicki, Kimberly (Matthew) Rager, and Eric (Nancy) Griwicki. Adored aunt of Zachary, Emma, Ethan, Madeline, Taylor, and Jorie.

Visitation Thursday 2-8pm with a 7pm Evening Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son, Inc., 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). In State Friday 10:30am until the 11am Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 31530 Beechwood (at Merriman Road, 2 blocks north of Ford Road).
