With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished and devoted mom, Karen Rose Paczas, 73, on December 6th. She was surrounded in love by her children and grandchildren. She fought a good fight with dignity and grace.

Karen's joy in life was her family, cherishing moments with her children and five grandchildren. She always made time together special, especially treasuring family time in the warmth of Cancun, carrying on this beloved legacy.

She was a woman of great faith, living a life of service even in her chosen careers as teacher, homemaker, Avon District Manager, Tiger's experience rep, and most recently serving the students at an elementary school. Her generous heart, sharp wit, and dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Kenneth Paczas. She is survived by her loving children; Jennifer, Matthew, Ken, Daniel, and Kevin (Jessica), cherished grandchildren; Skylar, Charlotte, Christian, Kenley, and Lincoln, and siblings; Craig (Mary) Jbara and Gary (Karen) Jbara.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America .

Visitation Wednesday 4 pm until the 6:30 pm Memory Sharing and 7 pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In State Thursday at 9:30 am until the 11 am Funeral Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
