The best of the Casper family, Laura Jean Casper, died at home in the wee hours of Friday, August 10, 2018, with friends and family by her side. Her death ended a good life, and a long struggle with multiple complications from Lupus. She was born in Detroit, one of 10 siblings, on May 8th, 1950 to Catherine Curtis and Frank Casper. Against the odds, she became a nurse, and pursued that profession honorably for 30 years, shepherding both parents through their deaths, and taking care as needed, over the years, of friends and family. She was an affectionate and loving person, with a great sense of humor and with an even greater love of The Beatles. She is survived by 5 remaining siblings, Jim in Detroit, Frank in Atlanta, Jackie in NC, Roger in CA, and Richard in Fl.
