Larry was raised in Garden City. In early life he stood out amongst his siblings and peers as an excellent athlete. His most favored sports were football and hockey. His most notable early job was being a railroad man, yet another recognizable aspect of his physicality that took him to places many had not gone before. He helped build and take care of "The Pole Barn", a place treasured by our family; visiting throughout his life to hunt and unwind.

He became a family man in the 80s. Family vacations often entailed our feet in the sand, boating, tubing that resulted in bruises, and fishing. Larry was proud of his two children and was always excited to see his granddaughter. His primary profession was working for Charter Communications where he began by installing cable infrastructure, eventually becoming a manager and retiring in later life.

He is remembered as being a sociable, good-hearted family man frequently surrounded by friends and loved ones. He will be dearly missed.
