Lois graduated from Hastings High School, Nebraska in 1957 and began her business career working for Martin-Marietta Co. in Denver, Colorado. Following her marriage, she continued in the aerospace field in the Detroit area.  She later worked many years as a paper distributor for the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News.

Lois had a passion for reading, politics, sports, cooking and baking. She was especially proud of her children, their accomplishments and Marty's beautiful flower gardens. Special thanks to her neighbors Dennis and Carole & Abe and Rema who showed such concern for Lois and her family.   Lois was a kind and wonderful wife, mother, sister,  friend and special companion to her dog, Daisy.
