Obituary

Lola Beatrice "Bea" Cook died peacefully in her sleep November 27 at her home in Frankfort, MI at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, James "Jay" Cook. Jay and Bea had four children: Russell, preceded in death, (Donna) Cook, Randy (Kathy) Cook, Dan (Janet) Cook, Penny (John) Oliverio. Jay and Bea had three grandchildren Brian, Mary Beth and Randy Jay (Jennifer) Cook. They also had 5 great grandsons Brendan, Owen, Kolin, David and Jonathan. Bea was not just Grandma Bea to her brood but was Grandma Bea to any child that needed to be loved.

She was born 02/28/1932 and Born Again on 09/23/1950. Bea loved her church. She was an active and dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church. Any visiting missionary always had a place to stay, her home was always open and she also worked in the card ministry.

Visitation will be at the Santeiu Funeral Home in Garden City, MI Wednesday November 29 from 2pm - 8pm.  A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday November 30 at 10:00 am at the Santeiu Funeral Home. Gene Keeler will officiate the ceremony. A luncheon will follow at Bethel Baptist Church, 29475 W. Six Mile, Livoina MI, 48152.
