Age 86

Beloved wife of the late Jack for 50 years. Loving mother of Kimberly (Gabriel) DeMarco, Julina (the late Timothy) Papich, Victoria (Frank) Balduck, and Melanie (Robert) Shimko. Cherished grandmother of Natalie (John), Steven, Timothy (Daisy), Thomas, Aaron (Kerri), Joshua (Courtney), Kayla (Chris), and Kevin. Adored great-grandmother of Scarlett, Emma, Tristan, Gage, Elijah, Georgia, and Luke. Sister of Kathleen Mecum, Pamela (Ulrich) Pakker, Ronald Feole, and the late Melissa Bartlett. Sister-in-law of Walter (Jean) Cornell.

Lynda was a working mother raising four daughters with her husband Jack by her side.  She loved to read everything and passed the love of books and knowledge to her children.  She loved sports of all kind and had expert knowledge of baseball, hockey, basketball and football.  There wasn't a sports question she couldn't answer.  She also loved bowling and the many leagues she joined over the years.  Lynda was known in the neighborhood as mom to many of the kids and never turned away anyone in need.  Everyone was family to Lynda and being with family was her greatest joy, especially at family get togethers and at her home up north.

We would like to acknowledge the staff at American House, The Medical Team, Hospice Livonia and Mom's personal caregivers Terry and Nancy for their care and dedication to mom's safety and well-being.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness.

Visitation Friday 3-8pm with a 7pm Rosary. Funeral Service Saturday 11:30am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).
