Magdalen "Madge" Czapiewski, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob). Loving mother of John (Dani), Pat (Craig) Larson and the late Ronnie.Cherished grandmother of Justin Larson. Dearest sister of the late Agnes (Bob) Zlotek, Anne (Al) Kossman and John (Del) Baloga.

Madge's favorite pastimes were sewing and baking. Before marrying, she did office work at Singer's and proudly purchased her first Singer sewing machine.She made many of her own clothes as well as her children's and found much pleasure in also creating their Halloween and play costumes. However, her cookies were her masterpieces. She loved to bake and did so with much love and a pinch of perfection.

Madge was a devoted and deeply loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very dedicated parishioner of St. Sebastian Church (now known as St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church) for over 60 years.She was a long-time member of the St. Anne Altar Society even serving as the President for several years.She enjoyed volunteering at Parish festivals, craft shows and especially the bake sales where she could happily donate her love and talent of baking!

Madge leaves her family and friends with many fond memories and her love and charm will be forever in their hearts. Although she will be greatly missed, there is comfort in knowing that she is once again with her beloved Bob!

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a Rosary at 5:30 p.m. Instate 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2002, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow Mass at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
