Obituary

Age 87

Beloved wife of the late Edward. Dear mother of Allen (Karen), Michael (Carol), Cheryl, Kim, and the late Kevin. Cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 5.

She never liked an empty house and always made sure everyone was taken care of, cooking for an army, feeding the neighborhood.

Margaret was a "Heinz variety" kind of a gal. She played dice with her sisters, and friends. Worked at numerous places like Truman's Candies, Cobo security, Massy Ferguson, McDonald's and was an asst. Librarian to name a few. Cutting her dog's hair, canning, and ceramics were some of the things she enjoyed doing through her life.

As a mom, she could throw a shoe better than any other mother we knew. She was short and we had fun holding things above her head so she couldn't reach them. Overall, we think she was a pretty great mom.

Visitation Friday 2 pm – 7pm with a 7 pm Rosary. Funeral service Saturday 10 am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Monday, August 22nd, at 11 am.
