Mark L. Tromeur, age 67, June 29, 2023.

Loving husband of Linda. Caring father of Jessica (Kenneth), Jennifer, Amanda (Joshua), Matthew (Kelly), Colleen (Mike), and the late Scott and cherished 'Papa' of Zachary, Isabella, Ethan, Nicholas, Harrison, Vaida, and Madison.  Dear son-in-law of Rose Kranz.

Mark served proudly in the United States Army as a young man before moving into his career in the professional trades. His time with General Dynamics & General Motors took him around the globe. Mark was a proud union member and advocated for worker's rights, later rising to a committee man in UAW Local 160.

Mark deeply loved his family and was always available for anyone at any time and made it known that his wife and children always came first. Whether it be time spent working on the family cars or helping his kids navigate the difficulties of life, Mark could always be counted on. He especially adored his time with his seven grandchildren and his time as 'Papa'. He also loved dinner dates and movie nights with his wife.

Mark could often be found in antique shops and thrift stores on weekends looking for the perfect deal while striking up conversations and making quick friends with seemingly everyone he met. If not antiquing or running his own collectible's booth, you might find him at a poker table or slot machine at Greektown Casino.

He will be deeply missed and was loved by all who knew him.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Alfred & Virginia; his siblings, Robert & James, and his wife Jacqueline.

Visitation Sunday, July 9, 2023 2-8pm and Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11am until the 1pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).
