Passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022. Devoted husband of Delphine for 61 years. Beloved father of Brenda (Steve) Murphy and Brady Borycki. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Evan, Bailey, and Meredith. Dear brother of Sharon Shaner and brother-in-law of Walter Tutak. Dearest former father-in-law of Patricia Larson.

Marvin was born in Detroit on October 14, 1937 to Chester and Kathryn (nee Litwa) Borycki. He enlisted in the Army shortly after graduating from St. Andrew High School. He joined Ford Motor Company in 1961 and was employed there for 35 years. He remained a proud retiree throughout his life and kept in touch with many members of his Ford family. Marvin and Delphine were snowbirds in retirement, and their home in Fort Myers, Florida was his "happy place". He enjoyed time with his family and friends and many rounds of golf there.

Marvin was also known as "Marvelous" to all who knew him, as that was always his response when asked how he was. He was a faithful, social, and generous man who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation or Disabled American Veterans .

Visitation on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm, with a Rosary at 7 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). Funeral Mass at the Church of the Divine Child at 10 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in state at 9:30 am. Entombment and committal services at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
