Age 95

Mary, a long time resident of Southwest Detroit, and recently a resident of Corewell Health, died peacefully December 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Married to the late Robert L. Betts for 69 years. Mother of Jim (Debe), Linda (Mike) Zundel, Donna (Greg) Matuszak, Greg (LeeAnn), Margaret (John) Boyle, Rose (Paul) Blazo, and the late Robert. Grandmother of 17, and great grandmother of 21. Sister of Marguerite Beamish, and Rosemary Schmit.

Visitation Sunday 2 pm – 8 pm with a 7pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Monday, 9:30 am until the10 am Funeral Mass at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights.

Family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or American Heart.
